Faux Strelitzia or Bird of Paradise

Strelitzia is a perennial plant native to South Africa. It is commonly known as “Bird of Paradise” or Crane Flower and features on the back of the 50 cent coin in South Africa. It is also the floral emblem of the City of Los Angeles.

These stems are great for a touch of the exotic either alone or part of an arrangement.
